Creating a container

Last updated February 10th, 2016

Once you've got a Cloud Container server up and running, you're ready to start provisioning containers onto it. To begin creating a container, follow the simple steps below:

  1. Navigate to the 'Containers' module. If you're about to create your very first container, you should see a message similar to the one shown below. Click the 'Add Container' button in the upper right corner of the page to get started:

    No containers

  2. On the first step you will be given an option to choose which type of image you would like your container to run and options for the container's name and which Cloud Container server to place it on:

    Create Container

  3. On the next step, you will be presented with some additional options for optionally setting up a SSH user, a database and auto-configuration of DNS and the CDN service:

    Additional Options

  4. When you're happy with everything you've selected, click the 'Deploy Container' button to begin creating your container. The progress will be presented in the header on the following page:

    Container Provisioning
