Using SSL Certificates with your Website

Once you have created or imported your SSL certificate, you can link that certificate to your website.

Step by Step - Adding

Follow these steps to ADD an SSL certificate to a website:

  1. Click "All Website servers".

  2. Click the server which has the website you want to add the SSL certificate to.

  3. Click the website you want to add the SSL certificate to.

  4. Click "Manage SSL". See Figure 1.

  5. Choose the SSL certificate to use with this website.

  6. Click "Next". See Figure 2.

  7. Select the IP address to use with this certificate. Note: If there are no IP addresses available to use then please contact support@sitehost.co.nz.

  8. Click "Enable SSL". Each website with an SSL certificate must be on a unique IP address. See Figure 3.

Step by Step - Removing

Follow these steps to REMOVE an SSL certificate from a website:

  1. Click "All Website servers".

  2. Click the server which has the website you want to remove the SSL certificate from.

  3. Click the website you want to remove the SSL certificate from.

  4. Click "Manage SSL". See Figure 1.

  5. Click "Disable SSL". See Figure 4.

  6. Click "Disable SSL" to confirm.

The SSL certificate will be removed from the website, however it will not be deleted and it can be re-added at a later time if desired.
