Domain DNS management

Last updated May 17th, 2013

If the DNS Management option is set for a domain, clients are able to manage the DNS records for their domain in the WHMCS client area.

  1. Log into the WHMCS system as a client (e.g.: http://example.com/whmcs).

  2. Select Domains > My Domains.

  3. Select "Manage Domain" from the domain actions dropdown next to the domain to manage. (see Figure 1)

  4. Select "Manage DNS" under "Management Tools". (see Figure 2)

  5. To add a DNS record, type in the details (SiteHost supports the types A, MX, CNAME and SPF). To delete a DNS record, clear the details for that record. (see Figure 3)

  6. Click "Save Changes". DNS entries can be entered as required.
